SDR is organized according to the principle of a horizontal network where the Steering Committee, chaired by the Director and composed of the Directors of the related Departments plus one of their delegates, carries out coordination functions and approves all technical and administrative procedures. It is chaired by the Director, Prof. Loredana Di Lucchio (2025-2027), assisted by the Deputy Director, selected from within the Steering Committee, Prof. Ioannis Chatzigiannakis
The Technical-Scientific Council is composed of all the affiliated colleagues and effectively animates the Center's scientific activities. They participate in thematic WORKING GROUPS linked to the Research Axes, with autonomy in proposing research initiatives, third mission, valorization, and training. The Research Strategy Manager, Dr. Viktor Malakuczi, Design Researcher, supports the research activities of the Technical-Scientific Council.
