As part of its activities, the SDR Center is committed to organizing scientific dissemination events around the themes of Design in all its facets, not only for the scientific community of the discipline but also for other fields, as well as the local entrepreneurial system and the broader public.
Design and the Third Sector. Stories and Perspectives & Design for Children: exhibition of Social Design lab projects developed at the Punto Luce delle Arti in Ostia. Two intense days of workshops, exhibitions, storytelling, and debates that placed Design at the center of the dialogue between the University and Third Sector actors.
Design Culture(s) - Cumulus Roma 2021. SDR organized the annual conference of the Cumulus Association, which includes over 300 Design schools worldwide. Lazio: Region at Work. Design-Based Entrepreneurship. Three conferences dedicated to the Center's three main research axes, aimed at initiating and strengthening dialogue with the productive territory, policymakers, civil society, and new and existing research partners.
