The Design project at the Punto Luce delle Arti is aimed at organizing and carrying out training activities for young people of adolescence for the development of non-cognitive and aptitude skills in the field of Design. The proposal is part of the Save the Children community-territorial project which led to the activation of a 'Light Point of the Arts' (PLA) in the former Guttuso Institute of Ostia. Consistent with the objectives of the PLA project, namely those of promoting a center with a high educational density, open to children and adolescents between 13 and 17 years, where they can find opportunities for growth, development and experimentation through free access to activities recreational-recreational and educational, the proposal of the SDR Center aims to encourage cultural, recreational and planning activities carried out with an educational and inclusive approach, capable of stimulating creativity.
The SDR Center, on the strength of its skills and in the context of the third mission of the University, assumes the role of operational consultancy and didactic care for the project, providing specific skills for implementation.
Specifically, the project involves the creation of 6 Design Courses / Laboratories related to the following Design areas:
1. 3D modeling and Rapid prototyping for the Jewel;
2. 3D modeling and Rapid prototyping for Dynamic Modeling;
3. Graphics for Stop Motion;
